Privacy Policy

1. What data we collect

When you submit a scenario brief form we collect your name, organisation name, email address, job role, and the information you provide about your project and team.

When you correspond with us by email we retain that correspondence.

We do not collect payment card data directly. Payments are processed by Stripe, which has its own privacy policy.

We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes.

2. How we use your data

We use the information you provide to deliver the scenario build service you have requested, communicate with you about your order and delivery, send you service-related notifications, and improve the Akobuild platform and service.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for marketing purposes without your consent.

3. Data storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. Data is stored on servers within the European Economic Area. Supabase's privacy and security practices are available at supabase.com.

Emails are processed via Resend. Their privacy policy is available at resend.com.

4. How long we keep your data

We retain client data for the duration of the commercial relationship and for six years following the end of that relationship, in accordance with standard UK business record-keeping requirements.

If you have submitted a brief form but not proceeded to an order, we will delete your data within 12 months of submission.

5. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct any inaccurate data, request deletion of your data in certain circumstances, object to processing of your data, and request restriction of processing in certain circumstances.

6. Third party services

Akobuild uses the following third party services which may process personal data:

• Supabase — database and authentication. supabase.com/privacy
• Resend — transactional email. resend.com/privacy
• Stripe — payment processing. stripe.com/privacy
• Claude API by Anthropic — powers the James AI mentor within scenarios. Anthropic's privacy policy is available at anthropic.com/privacy. Candidate responses within scenarios are not stored by Akobuild.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email to active clients.
